A New Idea for Captain Clutch The Knicks management seems on the way to a big mistake. Is it too late to mention that Thibodeau be rehired as coach under the following scenario? Coach agrees for management to hire an assistant that will help him with his perceived weaknesses and to implement many of them (or implement them himself). No embarrassment, changing their minds given his agreement for showing new flexibility and it could be mentioned that the fact that the coach’s choices that are currently left with are inferior to him. Besides, these choices could lead to a decline in league’s standing for the Knicks which, if it happened, would be more embarrassing and could lead to an undeserved shakeup in management. Captain Clutch, you could possibly be a middleman persuading both management and Thibodeau that it would be in both people’s interests and the team’s one overall in the Knick of time.
