Our take on Believe Her podcast

Believe Her flips true crime on its head. Host Justine van der Leun dives into the tragic case of Nikki Addimando, a young mother who, in 2017, fatally shot her partner. With exclusive police recordings, trial coverage, and interviews with Nikki, the podcast paints a complex picture of the events leading to her 19-year sentence. Over six episodes, the story challenges our preconceptions about domestic violence and the criminalization of the survivors. It's a stark reminder that what we see isn't always the truth, making you question your judgments. Believe Her is a true crime podcast by Lemonada Media.
