Our take on Gone South podcast
This Edward R. Murrow award-winning documentary podcast, in association with Jed and Tom Lipinski, uncovers the vast criminal web dubbed the Dixie Mafia. Going back to the sixties, this group of traveling criminals, known for their scams, heists, and murderous streaks, terrorized multiple States, from Georgia to Oklahoma. They were known to operate from their unofficial headquarters in Biloxi, Mississippi. Believed to have been headed by a charismatic and skilled outlaw by the name of Kirksey Nix, the Dixie Mafia is still operating. The group is responsible for some cases that hit the media, like the gruesome assassination of a criminal court judge, Vincent Sherry, and his wife, Margaret. Each episode of Gone South will drive you through the unraveling scene in the Dixie Mafia criminal world. Gone South is a True Crime podcast by C13OriginalsEdward R. Murrow
