I learned so much from this podcast, and her others as well. I live in CA and have driven by Manzanar many times. I have walked around it. I didn't know about all the gov lying. Thanks to Trump, here we go again.

Wow. Great reporting. Great Tragedy in US history. All Americans must listen and learn. That is how we can make our country great !!! A lesson in histeria driven by hatred and a country and its leadership that allowed it to happen. Let's learn from it and not allowed it to happen ever again.

This extraordinary Podcast is but one of Rachael Maddow's many amazing contributions to the public enlightenment, but this one strikes me as very, very special. I stand in awe of what she has done for us as an Nation overall, but this Podcast strikes me as very necessary and near perfection. To me this podcast has special meaning because my wife is Japanese, and was interned as a child. Her grand parents died in the prison camp because of the severity of the transition - one might say that they were murdered. Her Grandfather left behind a house that stands today as a city, state, and national landmark. It was a test case for Japanese owning property in the names of their children - Search for The Harada House in Riverside CA. Jukichi Harada also has a school in Riverside named after him. I continue to rage against the ease with which this country allows incompetent people to be in charge. It's gut wrenching.
