Our take on Rachel Maddow Presents: Déjà News podcast

After two super successful podcasts, Bag Man and Ultra, Rachel Maddow returns with a new series titled Rachel Maddow Presents: Déjà News. Together with Isaac-Davy Aronson, her collaborator of two decades, Maddow dives deep into current headlines, comparing them with historical events to uncover patterns and draw insights. The duo aims to clarify our understanding of today's complex issues by comparing past and present. "How often have you seen something on the news recently and found yourself thinking, man, this is crazy? This is unprecedented! I don't think anything like this has ever happened before," Maddow questions in the trailer for her new podcast. Déjà News, Maddow's third podcast under MSNBC, premieres on June 12, promising new episodes every Monday. This podcast marks a new chapter in Maddow's career as she transitions from her daily MSNBC show to special projects following a 2021 agreement with NBCUniversal. Aronson, who has been producing her show since 2014 and worked alongside her at Air America, also joins her on this exciting journey.
