The Rest is History is a production of two accomplished historians, Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook, who dig into their archives to teach us more about history and about all those events that shaped our world but we don't know about. The hosts: Tom Holland is a bestselling author who works on medieval and classical history and the origins of Islam. In addition, he has created and hosted historical television documentaries for BBC. Dominic is also a seasoned former lecturer of history at the University of Sheffield, a columnist, author and TV presenter. He has also been a visiting professor at King's College in London and a senior fellow of the Rothermere American Institute at Oxford.

Regarding the Rolling Stones podcast, a couple of points. Yer man said that the Generation Gap in the 60s was overrated. It wasn't. It was absolutely real. He also said that the New Thing in 1963 could have been a solo singer, rather than a group. But this is England. Our heroes have always been just a bunch of lads. Arthur and his round table. Robin Hood ane his merry men. The Few at the Battle of Britain. The England Squad in 1966. The Commitments. Calender Girls. The Full Monty. Monty Python.. . . Great podcast in every way. Well done everyone involved

It brought back many memories that I had forgotten and enlightened me about many details that were not mentioned in the media at that time. I also enjoyed the insertion of relevant humour to the the narrative.
