Our take on Ghost Herd podcast

Ghost Herd tells the story of the Easterday family's rise and fall and their actions' impact on the community around them. This story concerns greed, corruption, and the consequences of unchecked power. At first, the Easterday family's farming and ranching empire seemed like a story of American success. They started with a couple of hundred acres of farmland in Eastern Washington and turned it into a multimillion-dollar business. Then, however, everything came crashing down when their fraudulent business practices were exposed. Ghost Herd is a joint production of both KUOW and Northwest Public Broadcasting, both NPR Network members, bringing you weekly half-hour episodes filled with great storytelling and expert research. Ghost Herd is a documentary podcast by KUOW News and Information.

I found this story riveting and very well told. My father has passed and left farming before we moved west to Walla Walla. He was a county land assessor. Thanks Anna and all who assisted in telling this important story.
