Our take on Operator podcast

Wondery yet again presents another excellent podcast where you can feel the story of one company that provided the hugest chunk of phone sex in the nineties. The company in question, American Telnet, was founded and run by the self-proclaimed 'Telephone Pimp' who amassed great wealth from this company at the expense of his employees. Operator gives us a break from the usual true crime and murder stories and offers a tale of men and women at the forefront of a revolution in the sex industry, corporate double-crossing and big ambitions gone stale. The podcast goes deep into the rarely talked about industry, and listeners get a different perspective on the happenings in the commercial sex sector.
