The Rest is History is a production of two accomplished historians, Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook, who dig into their archives to teach us more about history and about all those events that shaped our world but we don't know about. The hosts: Tom Holland is a bestselling author who works on medieval and classical history and the origins of Islam. In addition, he has created and hosted historical television documentaries for BBC. Dominic is also a seasoned former lecturer of history at the University of Sheffield, a columnist, author and TV presenter. He has also been a visiting professor at King's College in London and a senior fellow of the Rothermere American Institute at Oxford.
