I just stumbled (at 82 stumbling is a regular activity) upon The Ezra Klein Podcast, the one with Sarah McBride and was stunned and delighted to enjoy a rational, intelligent, graceful discussion about today’s politics. The fact that Ms McBride is trans actually had less to do with what was said and more to do with giving credibility to her thoughts. There was little she said that applies only dealing with trans issues but to how to represent every citizen in a democracy. She reminded me that people on all sides of a any political issue, liberal or conservative, need to remember that every issue has multiple sides and working with each other is the only way to preserve our system. I will listenito past and future podcasts. Mr Klein, you have reminded me that there really is reason for hope.
